How to Check Your CDCP Status Online
The Service Canada Status Checker is the fastest way to verify your file. You do not need a full login for the quick checker, but you will need your personal details ready.
Information You Will Need:
- Application Code: Found in your original confirmation email or your most recent determination letter.
- Social Insurance Number (SIN): Required for identity verification.
- Date of Birth: (Required if checking for a child without a SIN).

Understanding Your 2026 Status Results
| Status Label | What it Means for You |
|---|---|
| Determined Eligible | You are approved! Check your MSCA for your benefit start date. |
| In Review / Action Required | Service Canada may need proof that you don’t have private insurance (Box 45 on your T4). |
| Expired (June 30) | Your annual renewal was not received. You must re-apply to restart benefits. |
