Renew Your Canadian Dental Care Plan Coverage

IMPORTANT NOTE: The renewal process for the 2025 to 2026 benefit coverage period has ended. If you did not renew and your CDCP coverage ended on June 30, 2025, you must submit a new application.

Ensure continuous dental coverage by renewing your CDCP before the deadline.

Who Needs to Renew?

All CDCP members must renew their coverage annually. The renewal period begins in March 2025. Ensure you file your 2024 tax return and receive your Notice of Assessment before renewing.

How to Renew Your CDCP Coverage

Renewal is quick and easy. Submit your application before June 1, 2025 to avoid a lapse in coverage. Coverage is valid until June 30, 2026.

Online: Renew through your My Service Canada Account (MSCA).
Phone: Call 1-833-537-4342 (TTY: 1-833-677-6262) for the automated renewal service.
In-person: Visit a Service Canada office.

Required Documents for Renewal

Ensure you have the following details ready:

Social Insurance Number (SIN)
CDCP Client Number
Updated mailing and home address
Marital status
Phone number & email address
Any government dental coverage details (if applicable)

Getting Help with Your Renewal

You can get assistance from:

A trusted person (friend, family member, translator)
A legal delegate (power of attorney, trustee, mandate)

Legal delegates must provide certified documentation. Mail or bring original copies to Service Canada.

Track your application status online or via phone:

Online: Use the CDCP Status Checker.
Automated Phone: Call 1-833-537-4342 (24/7).
Speak to a Representative: Available Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM – 4:30 PM local time.

All current members will need to take steps to renew their coverage. Once you have filed your 2024 tax return and received your notice of assessment from the Canada Revenue Agency, you will be ready to renew your coverage online, or in My Service Canada Account (MSCA).
