How to Check Your Application Status

If you have applied for the Canadian Dental Care Plan (CDCP) or renewed your coverage, you can check the status using the online Status Checker tool.

What You Need to Check Your Status

  • Application code or client number (found in your determination or renewal letter)
  • Social Insurance Number (SIN)
  • If checking for a child without a SIN, provide their full name and date of birth

Check by Phone

You can also check your application status by calling the automated phone service, available 24/7

Call: 1-833-537-4342, select your preferred language, then press 3.

If you need to speak with a representative, call between 8:30 AM – 4:30 PM (local time), Monday to Friday.
