Service Canada Dental Care Plan Office: Victoria Day Holiday Schedule

Planning a visit to a Service Canada Dental Care Plan office? It is important to note that all federal service points will observe the Victoria Day holiday. This closure affects in-person support for the Canadian Dental Care Plan (CDCP) across all provinces and territories.

Official Office Closure: Monday, May 18, 2026

The Service Canada Dental Care Plan office network will be unavailable for in-person consultations, document drop-offs, or identity verification on Victoria Day. Offices will resume regular operational hours on Tuesday morning.

Online Services Remain Active

While the physical Service Canada Dental Care Plan office is closed, you can still access:

  • The CDCP Online Application Portal.
  • The Sun Life CDCP Member Account.
  • The Dental Provider Search Tool.

Important Note for Dental Providers

Dental offices submitting claims electronically may continue to do so; however, if you require manual assistance from a Service Canada Dental Care Plan office representative or the CDCP help desk, you will need to wait until the offices reopen on May 19, 2026.

Common Questions Regarding Office Closures

Where is the nearest Service Canada Dental Care Plan office?

You can find the nearest location by visiting the official Service Canada website. Note that while all centres handle dental inquiries, specialized support is limited during federal holidays.

No. The specialized CDCP phone lines are operated by Service Canada staff and will be closed on Victoria Day.
