2026 Renewal Alert: The CDCP renewal period for the 2026-2027 benefit year is open from April 15 to June 1, 2026. Ensure your phone number is correct to receive your renewal confirmation.

How to Update Your Phone Number

To ensure uninterrupted access to dental services, follow these steps to update your contact details with Service Canada:

1. Use My Service Canada Account (MSCA)

  • Log in to your MSCA Profile.
  • Navigate to the “Canadian Dental Care Plan” section on the main dashboard.
  • Select “Update your contact information.”
  • Update your mobile or home phone number and save.

2. Call the CDCP Helpline

If you prefer phone assistance, contact the Service Canada CDCP line:

  • Phone: 1-833-537-4342 (8:30 am – 4:30 pm local time)
  • TTY: 1-833-677-6262

Quick FAQ for 2026

Will I lose coverage if my phone number is wrong?

You won’t lose coverage only for having a wrong number, but you may miss the June 1, 2026 renewal notice, which could result in your coverage ending on June 30, 2026.

Can I update my info via the Sun Life App?

No. Personal info changes for CDCP must be made through Service Canada. Service Canada will update Sun Life automatically.
